You do not need to be an ANZSRS member to apply for CRFS certification. If you are only seeking CRFS certification and not applying for Ordinary or Associate membership, the requirements and processes are different.
Non-members will be able to sit the exam, have access to the CRFS Study Guide and Practice Examination paper at a cost of $300AUD ex. GST.

All copies of qualifications must be certified by an authorised witness (e.g. Justice of the Peace or equivalent). The certifier must:
Write: “This is a true copy of the original documents sighted by me”
Sign and print their full name
Write the date of certification
Note: ANZSRS membership or proposer is not required for CRFS-only applications.

ANZSRS Ltd is a Company Limited by Guarantee. Applicants should read the ANZSRS constitution (Clauses 1 and 5.5 in particular) to ensure they understand their legal obligations as a member of ANZSRS Ltd.
The CRFS exam is a paper based exam and must be completed in person. International applicants may have to travel to an on-site location in Australia or New Zealand.
